Chakchouka (also called shakshouka) is a Tunisian dish of tomatoes, onions, pepper, spices, and eggs. Its usually eaten for breakfast or lunch, but I think its tasty anytime. And its easy to make. It is similar to the Turkish dish Menemen and to the Latin American breakfast dish Huevos Rancheros.

  1. 3 tablespoons olive oil
  2. 1u2009u2153 cups chopped onion
  3. 1 cup thinly sliced danger signal peppers, any color
